Description

This car is a very nice driving car and draws a crowd, waves, honks etc etc where ever it goes. It is a fairly rare car to see, at least in this part of the country it is not perfect but I don't make any claims that it is. i did have it safety inspected when I first bought it about 9 years ago, and haven't put more than about 4,000 miles on it since. The exhaust is fairly new and sound, front end is sound, though it does have the typical early 1960's habits on the road. It floats down the highway without the annoying road noises that you hear and feel in the more modern vehicles. The folks I bought it from rarely drove the car and it not having a functional top did not matter to them either. its a Convertable, you put the top down and drive with the wind blowing through your hair, maybe I drove it too fast as I don't get that sensation anymore, only Sunburnt. The car is what it is a very classic streamlined beauty that like many cars is always in need of something to make it better but it doesn't need anything to be enjoyed for what it is The price I think is more than fair so don't tell me how much you have to spend to make it a Concours Auto I don't care. This car will provide years and years of top down fun driving with out spending a fortune on it. Yes the chrome needs work, yes it needs a top, and if you want to raise the roof other than Manually it will need a pump and roof cylinders are going to drive it in the rain or winter. I did remove the back seat and side panels to show the floor is solid. It may require something depending on where you live to make it legal compared to Southern Alberta. The tires are good, all glass is perfect, exhaust is good, there are only 2 seat belts in the front but that is all my wife and I needed. All the lights work it has a brand new battery in it and I have and should be able to get any picture you might need with the exception of me jacking the car up and crawling underneath. Yeah No Sorry I am too old for that but if you wish to have someone come look at it, please by all means do that I am almost always available. I don't need to sell the ol girl so I am not pressed for cash Winter is coming soon so if it does not sell she goes up on blocks so the mice don't get at it and I will cruise in her again next Summer, God be willing.. The car is also listed locally so should it sell i will be ending the auction early. Shipping will be at the new owners expense and I know nothing about shipping the car across the border, but speaking of borders we are less than 2 hours from the Montana Border Crossing of Sweetgrass, Montana. Happy bidding and i do hope she finds a good home.
