Description
1973 Ford Maverick (Grabber) 302ci-c4 trans,, i have been driving it around the farm & not much on the highway like i did for many years back in the 80's&90's ,,i have many new parts on this maverick,,i have had this rare car over 3 decades & believe or not still have clear "Ga title" (original color was green with white grabber decals),,i installed a sun roof back in the late 80's and in 2012 installed a black headliner& black carpet ,,,the AC/heater control panel vacuum switch malfunctioned therefore a new jeep wrangler vacuum control switch was installed,,"Recently Installed">>> a new ACTEXmax AC compressor/expansion valve/condensor/hoses/dryer/fan,new electric fuel pump/electronic distributor,,new master cylinder,,replaced brake shoes/cylinders around 2012,,resealed power steering control valve ,,new shocks/mufflers,,brand new 14" tires,,,,the fuel tank has been removed & flushed out,,,the instrument panel has all new led lights installed so now you can actually see how fast your driving at night ,,"Paint details">>the car was painted in 1989 then again in 2012 with acrylic enamel silver paint( no clear coat),,so now we still have a few problems that are presently on the list>>>torque converter seal now has a small leak>>>line crack in windshield been there for a long time however it dosen't interfere in driving>>>this car hit a deer a little 20 years ago & because of the crash i lost my original Grabber hood so now it is just a regular hood>>> sun visors missing but still on a hunt for them,,"Engine details">>>when it was rebuilt a competition cam( size specs?) from pep boys was installed with new lifters/valve job/chain etc,,this original 2bl carb still runs good ,,very strong engine---sounds great---trans shifts quick ,,so after all this time i have decided to list my very rare "1973 Maverick Grabber"
