Description
A TRUE BARN FINDBetween 1988 - 1990 the motoring world was turned upside down when Peter Brock went to Ford.
The legend lent his name to 200 Ford cars, 12 of which were Ford Mavericks. For the first time in several years one has finally been found to sell.
As can be seen in the photos, the plate stating that this Maverick is 007 is the series. Due to ill health, unfortunately this car has been left somewhat to the elements for the last couple of years, but amazingly started after 2 years of being left outside.
As can be appreciated, there are problems with the car, when driven into the shed the transmission was leaking like a seive, and unfortunately there is some rust, the interior is in remarkably good condition, and the tyres on it are as new.
This vehicle is a 7 seater, with plenty of room, but with the little i have been able to research on this rare vehicle, i believe it could be restored to its former glory and put on display somewhere as an homage to the great man
Please note: you are bidding to buy, not to take photos. The man that owns this vehicle is very ill, therefore please consider if you are serious about buying, however if you want to inspect the vehicle, arrangements can be made. The vehicle is in Gisborne, Victoria, and will come unregistered.
