Description
1930 Ford Model A Deluxe Roadster

Listed on behalf of the owner.
Located near PORTLAND, OREGON.

This 1930 Ford Model A Deluxe Roadster received an off-the-frame restoration to a very high level by a Model A enthusiast in Eastern Oregon approximately 10 years ago. Current owner purchased it shortly after completion. As an active member of the Oregon Region of the Model A Ford Club of America, he toured this car regularly for club events where it has always performed flawlessly over nearly 7,000 miles. He has now decided to make room in the garage and offer it for sale.

Body is finished in a combination of correct 1930 Ford Chicle Drab and Copra Drab colors with black fenders and Straw wire wheels. Paint is excellent and shows beautifully today. Interior was fully restored with LeBaron Bonney materials in correct color and style. Seat belts added up front and in the rumble seat. All chrome re-plated and presents well. Tan Haartz cloth convertible top is in excellent condition. Includes full set of new side curtains that have never been on the car. also includes brand new car cover (still in the box) inside of the new accessory trunk.

As this car was set-up for touring, it has dual tail lights with added turn signals. 6 volt alternator for bright lights at night. Also, ADDED OVERDRIVE, making this car comfortable on the road at 60 miles per hour. Deluxe dual sidemounted spare tires and engraved wind wings. Tilt-out windshield with clear glass. A nice package.

PLEASE SEE PHOTOS WHICH WERE JUST TAKEN FOR THIS LISTING AND SHOW CURRENT CONDITION.

Mechanically excellent. Rebuilt original 4 cylinder A engine develops 40 horsepower. With the added overdrive transmission it easily keeps up with modern traffic. 4-wheel mechanical brakes stop smooth and straight. Solid, rust-free undercarriage (note that the undercarriage was not cleaned of surface dirt for show in these photos.) Whitewall tires in very good condition. Needs nothing. Ready to enjoy now.

PLEASE SEE VIDEO OF ENGINE RUNNING.

Overall, this is an excellent "A" for club events, touring, or just plain fun. A reserve has been placed on this car in keeping with its quality. It could not be restored to this level today for the reserve price. Please bid accordingly.

WE WILL HAPPILY SELL TO BIDDERS WORLDWIDE AND WILL ASSIST WITH SHIPPING ANYWHERE.
