Description
You are looking at a complete rolling 1928 Ford Coupe Real Henry Steel body on a original a 1928 Chassis. The front end is complete - Stock Axel,Un-Split bones, Reversed eyed main Leaf, Mechanical breaks, steering arms, Drag link, tie rod, and Knee Shocks. Steering is Stock box and column (missing pitman arm), turns freely and makes moving and loading this "Project" easy. The factory cross members are intact with original rivets. The Ford Banjo rear end is set up with 1935 wishbones and spring behind buggy spring.
The 1929 body is a Rare Early Coupe Model, with 80% of the Original Ford panels intact and near perfect Sub Rails (see pics). 17" spoked wire rims and Bias-ply wide white wall Tires. While considered a complete car this project still need finishings.
Thisis a California car and has always been to the best of my knowledge. It can be registered as a 1928 Ford with a clear California title for additional fee of $300 if the winning bidder desires. The Frame does have cleared and visable Vin#'s with the factory stars, sorry I wont give out the numbers except to the winning bidder. I was building this car for someone to just enjoy as a traditional style hot rod not a rat rod or a trailer queen by any means but it's a cool car and there are not many around.
