Description
HOT ROD RAT ROD T BUCKET.
This has been my project since November 2015 and I would now like to sell so that I can move on to something else. The car is located in Northern California. This is a project for you to finish the way you want.or just keep it like it is?
This car is too fast and scary for me ( I am77 years old)_.
For sale on the local market.
I do not have the title for this car. Only driven on country roads or off road around my home. I will give you a bill of sale.
Most of the major body and suspension parts are from the "Speedway Motors" catalog, therefore, replacement parts will not be a problem.
The motor is a Ford 6 cyl. from a 1966 Mustang, . I installed headers, a Carter YF carburetor, electronic ignition, and a one wire alternator.
Radator and hoses are all stock 1966 Mustang.
Body is a fiberglass replica of a 1923 Ford listed in the SPEEDWAY MOTOR catalog.
Frame, body, suspension parts, and most of the miscellaneous parts are from the SPEEDWAY MOTOR catalog.
The transmission is a used C4 with a reconditioned TQ.
The rear end is a chevy 10 bolt.
Has front disk brakes from SPEEDWAY MOTOR catalog. Also, has all new brake plumbing and new MC.
All new wiring with fuse box under the seat and removable dash insert for easier maintenance.
ATTENTION;
Has all new front end parts but will need realignment by an alignment shop. needs 1/8in toe in.
Transmission shifter hard to keep adjustedhave to wiggle shifter to find park, otherwise, works. Should be replaced. The condition of transmission not known, but does drive and shift.
The car is very light and fast would be a handful for an imature driver.
The motor has about 20,000 miles and runs very nice.
I can hold the car in my shop up to 30 days after purchase (if you need time to pick up or have picked up).
