Old School Rat Rod
1923 T Bucket
Hey Daddy-O, check out this bodacious ride – isn’t it just sick – Strap yourself in and HANG-ON….
This is a one-of-a-kind, custom built – Old School – from the ground up baby. It was the Seller’s Father who purchased this 23 with the original intention of customizing it to its hot-rod glory. However and unfortunately he never got to start that project before passing away. Soon afterwards, the seller took up his Dad’s cause along with his Uncle and an ole family friend who had a long history and awesome reputation of his own custom car building. After a few really long days that turned into a couple years, hundreds of cups of coffee, a few swear words; the resulting creation is what your eyes enjoy today. His Dad would be damn proud, but now it’s time to finally put this in the hands of the next owner who will appreciate and love it as much as the seller has.
Powering this mean machine is a 1969 Corvette 327 engine with 202 heads, stainless steel valves, roller tip rockets, double roller timing chain and a high volume oil pump. The mild cam lets you cruise with no issues. Behind that is a turbo 400 automatic and a Ford 9" with 355 gears. Front end is a solid axle with a 4" drop, rack a pinion steering and a 4 core radiator. Interior is custom made with full gauges. This has an installed AM/FM radio with CD. Has a tilt steering wheel. Body is fiberglass done in black primer with black and gray marine grade upholstery for the interior. The rims came from Wheel Smith out of California with Hoosiers tires and Ford hub caps and beauty rings.
You will be hard pressed to find one of these that runs better, straighter, and sweeter than this beauty.
