Description
1916 Model T Ford Speedster, Just out of an Estate. Same owner over 45 years. This car was built from a low mileage 1916 Model T Ford. According to the family the 1916 Touring Body was removed from the car and their dad built the Speedster from the original 16 chassis. This car has a matching number title. The engine and transmission were rebuilt. The car has a front oil line, aluminum side cover and pan cover. It also has Rocky Mountain brakes.
When the Dad became sick the project stalled. The car has been sitting for years.
When I received the car I put the head on and aluminum pan cover. The pistons were original and standard bore. I can verify at minimum the bearing caps were pulled and re-shimmed. The family told me the engine was totally done. However, I have no proof.
The carburetor was off the car and needs a rebuild. I did put one of my NH carbs on the car for testing purposes. The engine was tight and I was un able to turn the car over fast enough to start. There is no starter on the car.
I took the car to my brother’s farm and we pull started the car. It fired right off. And away we went.
Can see us go at
The car is going to need some band and brake adjustment and a Carb rebuild. However, the car ran great. I do have an extra hogs head if you want to put starter on that goes with the car. A spare rim and tire go with the car. Also headlight reflectors, springs, gaskets, and new light sockets. Along with brass step plates, and a brass tail light bracket if you chose to put a brass tail light on the car.
I would like to trade for a good great running T or A sedan.

I just found a brass horn in a box I received with the car. The horn will go with the car. I didn't
find the bulb but will keep looking.
