2005 Ford Mondeo Zetec only 85,500 miles, 1 owner from new, FSH, outstanding!

Regrettably having to sell our superb Mondeo as my fiancé is now unable to drive a manual car, so we have just bought the exact same car but as an automatic, and don’t have space for both of them.

I spent a long time looking for one of these with low miles, that was in superb condition and that only had the 1 owner…..took a while, but eventually found this. It is a VERY economical 1.8 manual. I’m averaging over 35mpg using it as our daily driver to work and back, along with going on a run at the weekend. Does 50mpg+ on the motorway! Gorgeous dark grey metallic with contrasting black velour trim.

We purchased the car around 5 months ago, from its one elderly original owner. The car has been babied and maintained regardless of cost its entire life and has a fully up to date service history, with stacks of receipts (see pictures), radio code card, owners manuals and 2 remote keys. The bodywork of the car is outstanding as you can see from the pictures, there are a few tiny marks but you’d really need to look hard. The interior shows no wear. The only thing letting the car down slightly is that the lacquer is peeing on the alloys, although they have almost new tires all round. FSH as follows:

All the electrics work perfectly and the air con was recently recharged and is ice cold.

We bought it with around 79,000 miles on it (90% of these were motorway miles) and it is sitting at 85,500 now. We have been all over in it and it has never skipped a beat, always reliable and comfortable to drive. Had it not been for Dyans shoulder injury, we would not be selling it.

TAXed till end of the year and MOT till 15 Jan 2015, FSH and has stacks of service receipts right back to the original delivery receipt from Ford. The V5 shows 2 previous owners, but please note that the 1st one was the supplying Ford Dealership, so it’s really just 1 owner from new plus us for the last 5 or so months.

This really is a bargain for someone wanting a safe, reliable, modern car with low miles and plenty of TAX and Mot on it…..you won’t find a nicer one cheaper.

Stupidly low start price of £1,000 with no reserve and only a 3 day listing as we need a quick sale due to lack of driveway space, we paid a LOT more for it! I took the pictures today 10/07/14 at my work, any wet bits you see on the ground are from me washing it prior to taking the pictures, the car has no leaks!

I’d happily drive this car anywhere, we’ve been from Glasgow to Scunthorpe a few times in it, totally reliable and I have 100% feedback with over 1000 auctions, so bid with confidence if you aren’t local, it’s worth making a trip to collect it!
