I'm selling a 1966 Mustang Convertible. It is a #s matching 289 4V complete. I consider this a project car that will need quite a bit of body and paint work, but once complete you'll have a very valuable & desirable Mustang Convertible.
I bought the car from a private seller here in Michigan. He had recently purchased the car to resell and make some quick money. The story I received from him about his purchase is as follows: "Grandma & Grandpa bought the car in there early 30's only drove it to & from Grocery store & bank & that the 64,017 miles are original. The car stayed parked in the Garage after the Grandfather Died & the little old Lady didn't want to drive it cause it was his. When she died 17 years later the grand kids didn't want it & thats how I ended up getting it." Not sure if it's true but that's the story I got. I can tell from the plates that it hasn't been licensed for about 10 years. I have not tried to start it but I assume it will need fuel system flushed, tune up, etc. Engine moves freely and is not froze.
The car appears very original. Interior Is very presentable but could use a professional cleaning. The dash looks very good. Has original carpets.

International/foreign buyers are very welcome to bid. I've shipped many cars overseas. Shipping cost from my house to the port in New Jersey cost about $650-700 for a non-running car. The cost for a single car to Europe by boat is roughly $800-1200.
I can help load car if picking up in person or I can get you in contact with my transport broker who is fair on shipping prices and can be trusted. I can also deliver the car for a fee.
