1964 Ford Mustang

Up for sale is a 1964 1/2 Mustang titled as a 1965. If you know Mustangs you know all the early ones were titled as 65's. This car is mostly original and unrestored. But it has some flaws and the price is reflecting this. First you will notice in the pictures this car is clean and rust free. The interior carpet is faded and seats dash and door panels are in good shape except the passenger seat has a big crack in it. Floors are solid, so is trunk pan. Now for its issues it was repainted at some point, and a decent job at that, but guess what some idiot did, toke off the door tag and lost it. The vin is still of course stamped in the fender apron and it matches the title. This car still maintanes the correct 260 v8 engine, with the correct 1964 power steering pump. It also has the generator as 1964s would have. It has a 80's aftermarket radio with speekers in the doors. This obviously is wrong. It did run great but has been parked for several years. It turns over but will not start. I have determined the coil is bad. I will replace this for the new owner. Breaker points were replaced with a ignitor. It actualy has the original upper radiator hose, still has Ford clearly on it. Original Hubcaps are still with the car. I know the Door tag can be reproduced, i have decoded the vin. The numbers do match. The vinyle top is cracked up, but there is again no signs of rust on the roof. And car was parked in a garage mostly its whole life.
