Description
I just replaced the motor in this 1988 GT and added a lot of upgrades. The car has clean title but is not registered or with plates since it has been a 5-year project. It's not finished since I need to have the air/fuel dialed in and a dyno tune. Also it builds oil pressure slowly on a cold start, so I wanted to check into that before I did anything else. The car starts and runs, but I have not driven it yet.
I bought an ECU from a 1991 for the dyno tune, but just don't have the time to have that done with my work schedule and travel. So I am passing it up for sales for someone else to finish it. The parts alone on this car are worth more than my asking price, but since I have not driven it with the new motor I am offering it a good price, because I need the room more than the money and don't have time to finish this job.
The current state of the car ist that the interior is restored, a rebuilt engine is installed, Vortech , Edelbrock performer heads, 30# injectors, GT40 style intake, 70mm MAF and throttle body, headers. flowmaster high flow cats. and force 2 cat back system, global west subframes, strange suspension, new wheels and tires, electric fans, radiator, water pump, alternator, all new.. no leaks, but I am not 100% sure about oil pressure so I am tempted to pull the motor and check to make sure.
I am selling it as parts, since its worth what I am selling as parts, but it needs the last push to finish it and then probably the rear disc upgrade, and an MSD which I have not done yet.
Body is straight but has some dings. I was going to do that last.
