1968 Ford Mustang

Here's a sweet early 1968 Mustang fastback. It has it's original 289 AT. It was a 2 barrel car, but we put an aluminum 4 barrel intake on it. This car was taken down to bare metal before we got it (have book of pics). The floors are original..NO RUST. The driver rear quarter needs a little finishing work at the bottom and it has a few dents on the top that need attention. The windows need to be put in..we have them. It has a 2005 GT grill and the Shelby trunk lid with end caps and the Shelby tail lights. Included are new Shelby tail light bezel & lenses. The bumpers & hood are new. It has new door skins. It has rear window louvers that need to be mounted. It has a new GT gas cap & exhaust tips. Glass has no cracks.
The car runs & drives.smokes some. We've had the car for 14 years &
it's been sitting covered up in our shop. Before we got it, it had been sitting
in a garage for 26 years. We had the front end lined up, because parts had
been replaced some years ago. The lower core support & passenger frame/bumper support section needs to be replaced and the large support
section that the front passenger side stabilizer bar on the fastens to need replaced or repaired (see pics). This is the only area on the WHOLE car that has rust.
The interior is dusty from sitting. The black seats are nice. The dash has been replaced with new parts & the dash pad is new as well as the instrument bezel. It also has a new shifter, bezel & T handle that need to be installed. The carpet, headliner & Pony floor mats are new. It also has a new aftermarket console. We have the panel that goes between the trunk & passenger compartment.it needs to be installed. The inside door panels need to be installed (we have them). It has a new gas tank & sending unit.
The front main seal leaks a small amount of oil. We have a lift if you want
to come look at the underneath of the car. You need to see it to believe it.
The car has a nice set of 15" American Racing "Daisy" wheels (60's era)..tires are good. Also included is a pair of '68 Shelby style lower side scoops.
