Description

This is a beautiful 1969 Ford Mustang Fastback (SportsRoof). I had this car carefully restored to all of my requirements and exacting standards. The clean body lines and the original paint color make this car a dream for anyone that understands the care it takes to properly restore a car. A lot of time was spent on the body panels to make sure they are all straight and all of the gaps are better than when the car was new. I have attached some photos of the body panel gaps to show the care taken. Under the hood is a 351 Ford Windsor custom build by Carolina Machine Engines, who have been building engines since 1984. The engine produces 400 HP at 5,400 rpm and 428 ft-lbs. torque at 4,200 rpm (see the picture of the dyno sheet). The engine is mated to a Monster Transmission 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission rated to handle up to 600 HP. A Ford 9-inch , 31-spline rear end, built by Currie Enterprises, with a 3.5 gear ratio and Detroit Locker differential make this powertrain bullet proof. Adjustable front coil over shocks by QA1, with front disc and rear drum power brakes, give this Mustang great handling and stopping power. Under the car are welded-in frame rail connectors to eliminate any possible body flex. To make this 1969 Mustang more enjoyable to drive, power steering and air conditioning were added. With the Flow Master dual exhaust, this Mustang sounds awesome. (See the video.)
The exterior of the car includes a front chin spoiler, rear spoiler, and rear window louvers. The wheels are American Racing Burnout with Nitto NT05 Max Performance tires. The racing-style mirrors complete the clean look of the exterior.
Special touches inside the Mustang include: Auto Meter Sport-Comp instrument panel with speedometer, tachometer, fuel, oil, water, and voltage; front Mach 1 style bucket seats, with a green stripe, instead of red, to match the exterior color; a high-end Alpine stereo system, with sub-woofer and amplifier, provides great sound; folding rear seat; and, a pass-through to the trunk.
Less than 1,000 miles have been put on this Mustang since the restoration was completed. Please feel free to call 941-780-1522 or email so that I can answer any of your questions in order to help you fully appreciate this car.
