Description
1969 Ford Mustang Sportsroof/FB with T code Candle Apple Red paint basecoat/clearcoat that has went through a 3 year restoration finished in 2012. It has 351 Cleveland motor. The car was originally Silver Jade with a 302.It has a Painless wiring harness installed in 2017. It has a 1991 Mustang AOD with shift kit and overdrive Kevlar bands installed in 2018. The AOD allows the Mustang to accelerate well, but cruise at 70 MPH @2,600 RPM.
The Mustang is a frequent show winner. The gaps on the car are consistent and much better than from the factory.
The Mustang is manual steering/manual brakes. It was originally all drum brakes, but now has front discs. I also have part of a kit to convert the rear using 1994-2004 Mustang brakes.
The car never overheats and is great in parades.
It has an Edelbrock 4-barrel carb. It has stainless steel brake lines. It is coated underneath with truck bedliner. It has an H pipe Flowmaster muffler exhaust. The Magnum 500 wheels are 15X8.
The interior is Mach 1 black style and all seats have been reupholstered.
Dependablebuilt to drivecan be a great start also for pro-touring, but currently built like came off of the factory floor
original rear window and side glue-in glass, has windshield with the right markings
I have receipts and a ton of pictures of the restoration.
The restoration included, new floorpan, cowl, sound deadener, new fenders, new trunk drop offs, door shells, valence, etc
It also has a new classic autosounds radio/amplifier with aux input.
