Description
Up for sale is this 1967 Ford Mustang ConvertibleThis convertible came from the factory with great options and a rare color
combination for 1967.
I purchased this Mustang with the intent to restore it back to the factory exterior color.
However, upon receiving the Mustang I realized the seller didn't disclose some issues
with the car and I don't have the time or money right now to give it the attention it needs
as I have other project I'm working on.
I will do my best to describe everything I know about the car.
The Mustang came from the factory in the super rare stunning color of silver frost.
Per the Marti report there were only 66 1967 Mustang Convertibles made in
silver frost exterior and black deluxe interior.
The car came from the factory with some great options including the convenience
control group which all seems to be present. Check out the Marti report
for the other options. The car still retains those options except the AM/FM 8 Track.
Black power top with folding backglass. All power top components are still there
but the power top currently doesn't work. I have not had the time to investigate.
The black top does have 2 small tears in it on the top center.
Original 289 4v A code car. The intake and carb must have been changed in the past
as the car has a 2v carb and intake now. Engine fines up well and is nice and quiet.
Car still has the factory transverse single exhaust. Car runs and drives but I have not had
out on public roads yet.
The interior still has all the deluxe interior pieces. The drivers door panel is old and needs
replacement. The deluxe seat trim pieces are overall in good condition.
The factory dash tach works and seems to read accurate.
The body on this Mustang is in very good shape. Straight and overall clean.
It has some typical bubbles on the lower corners of each door.
The car does need some rust repair. It appears to have original floors but in the past someone
cut out the lower part of the torque boxes so the car will need new torque boxes.
The trunk floors have had some patch work in the past and will need some work.
The rear frame rails have been replaced in the past, the sections where the springs
bolt up. The drivers front frame rails is in very good shape, the passenger inside front
rail under the battery tray will need a patch.
I have a video of the car running if anyone would like to see it.
If you need to see more pics, please ask for them prior to purchase.
I have the car for sale locally and reserve the right to stop this auction early.
