1965 Ford Mustang

I purchased this 1965 Mustang from a Marine who spent about $30,000.00 plus in parts and accessories. The body is very nice with only 2 small rust spots in the trunk area. See photos. The floor pans are rust free with original paint still showing. It has a Shelby front bumper and Shelby fiberglass hood with scoop and a Shelby Patina script for the rear panel. I have Shelby side scoops, but are not installed. This Mustang Fastback has a new crate 302 engine with a blower. Previous owner said it was tested at 650 HP. It has a new Tremec 5 speed transmission, heater assembly has been rebuilt with new heater core, Currie rear end, 4 wheel disc brakes, lowered suspension, New interior including dash, 2 sets of interior door panels, new carpets, and front and rear fold down seats. Needs headliner. New 17 inch American mags with new tires, new gas tank, wiring, alternator, power steering pump, aluminum radiator, hoses belts the list goes on. He was building this Mustang as a barn or garage find with a restored interior, suspension, under carriage and engine compartment. He spent many hours on the paint to give it that old patina barn find finish. The underside of the car is restored as is the engine compartment. I bought this car to complete his restoration, but I am downsizing my collection so I have decided to sell. The car needs to be finished. I have not started or driven the Mustang.
