1969 Ford Mustang Convertible

For sale is a number matching rare 1969 Mustang convertible . Approximately 80% of the parts are here for this project. It is a 390 car with an automatic transmission, factory A/C, power front disc brakes power top and power steering. It is an S code car that was originally Black Jade with a white top and the blacked out hood option. As listed in the attached Marty report, it is one of only 146 Mustangs equipped as this car is. The number matching 390 engine has had the machine work done on the block and heads including being bored .020 over on the block, crankshaft turned .010 on the rod's and .020 on the mains. All freeze plugs have been replaced and block is ready for new pistons and bearings. The heads have been surfaced and totally rebuild. All original pistons and engine parts are there but of course will have to be replaced. Machine work was all done in 2008, but all parts have been stored in climate controlled conditions since and are very clean. The car itself has been stored inside and is straight. The only rust I can find is a small rust spot in the right side floor pan. The rest of the car appears to be rust free. The underneath of the car is very clean as shown in pictures.
