1964 Ford Mustang Convertible

Beautiful Caspian Blue Metallic '64 1/2 Ford Mustang Convertible with rare pedigree. One of the final convertibles produced with rare D-code 289 motor in '64 1/2 production run at Dearborn, MI plant on July 31, 1964. Very good condition; runs good, no rust, auto transmission. Over $6k to professionally disassemble exterior, sand to metal and then paint. Always garaged and covered since I've owned the car. Have original hub caps. Previously restored around 20 years ago so it has typical rattles, creaks, and rear seal leak that you would expect from a 53 year old Mustang. However, car is extremely solid in terms of paint, panels, frame rails, and zero rust. Original and matching VIN data plate/numbers on driver's side door and on inner fender well under the hood.
Minimal miles on suspension that was serviced a few years ago to include sway bar, rear leaf bushings, steer / inner tie rod; outer tie rod; tie rods and sleeves, upper and lower ball joints, shocks, arm shaft, and u-Joints. New adjustable front coil-over kit. New brake drums. Transmission rebuilt in 2002 with minimal mileage post rebuild. Radiator replaced within past 8 years. Have all receipts/records and clean title.
