Description
Original numbers matching 1969 Boss 302 Mustang. Rare 1969 model - about 1700 were built. Color is Calypso Coral. In very good condition. Complete restoration finished in 1994 by Mid Michigan Mustang (receipts included). Owned since 1989. In Boss 302 Registry - registry book included. No rust. About 12,000 miles since restoration. Believe total mileage to be about 90,000. Runs strong. Options are: power steering, power disc brakes, fold down rear seat, tach dash, console, space saver spare, clock (not working), Mach I seats, seat belts, Magnum 500 wheels, delux woodgrain dashboard trim.
Parts I have replaced or added (kept all original parts): aluminum flywheel, radiator (looks stock), cooling fan, transmission (wide range), rear end (3.25 Detroit Locker), shifter (1970 Hurst), leaf springs. Original close ratio trans and "N" case 3.89 traction lock included (both in excellent working condition).
Included original parts not installed: AM/FM factory radio, correct carb, speedometer reducer, proportioning valve, cooling fan, and original 1969 shifter. Also 29 years accumulation of parts.
Do not have: rear wing, smog system, distributor diaphragm, trunk mat
Issues: proportioning valve needs to be added, few paint chips, rev limiter not working.
Paperwork included: original build sheet, restoration receipts, Boss 302 Registry book, original shop manuals and aftermarket Boss 302 book.
Car is located about 35 north of Detroit for viewing.
