Description
From my collection, I am offering my 1969 MACH 1 Fastback for sale.
A summary: "It was built and delivered on 10/31/68. Originally, Pastel Gray with blacked-out hood however, I changed it to Ford Dk Blue - Imron enamel with blacked-out hood.
This car was brought to California and restored to a sleek and fast automobile.
It has a completely rebuilt 351 Windsor with a naturally-aspirated 400+ horsepower on a 650cfm 4bbl carburetor. Engine has some upgrades in the Serpentine pulleys, Shelby radiator and hoses.
This is an air-conditioned car and drives amazing on the 17" Shelby wheels and Delinte D7 tires. The motor has [exactly] 45 miles since rebuild and paired with the FlowMaster 3" stainless steel exhaust, it has a very deep resonance that fits the Mach 1. It was professionally lowered by Ground Concepts by 2.15" and fitted with wheels and tires once profiled.
I [am not] an "emblem" guy however, I have the correct Mach 1 decals and medallions you can apply after sale. I have the original "Rim Blow" steering wheel I have not put back on since its restoration and I can install it for you or, you can do it at a later date.
It is a 95% restoration because I like to occasionally drive the cars from my collection and not be concerned with road grime under the chassis. This is not a complete frame-off restoration of this Mach 1. This Mach 1 has won multiple awards in car shows throughout California, Nevada and Texas and was displayed in the showroom of two major Ford Dealerships in California as a promotional car for Mustangs."
It is priced to sell and you'll be receiving an exceptional automobile you will not find with many Mach 1 Mustangs for sale. Please have this car inspected to verify everything indicated is accurate and to your satisfaction. A deposit of $1,000 is required upon successful purchase. Mach 1 is sold AS-IS. More photos are available on request and stay tuned for additional Mustangs from my collection coming soon.
Next up; 1970 Mach 1/351 Cleveland candy-apply red.
Thank you for viewing. Jim
