If your in the market for a nice Classic car this is one to consider, this is a matching numbers car with the original drivetrain. I Purchased this car about 5 years ago from the original owners family out of NC This was pretty much a rust free car from the start. I was also told all of the cars glass and body panels are original to the car and the car was never Molested and always stored in a barn.
Since getting the car, I had the disassembled and reassembled during the process Installed a stage 2 cam, Exhaust, headers and Purchased Brand new rims & tires they have less then 100 miles on them. The body lines on this car are nearly perfect and the paint is less then a year old, it shows very well. I spent 5,000 just on the paint job at a professional body shop so no body work or paint is needed. The car also runs & drives well but will Probably need the carb rebuilt from sitting so much the float seems to get stuck and floods out. The Transmission shifts smooth and the Engine sounds very healthy it has a very nice lopping cam and 2 Chamber Flow masters that gives it the perfect Muscle car sound. This car turns heads everywhere it goes its a true eye catcher and the black paint and chrome wheels really makes this car pop. This is a solid car, the undercarriage is clean as well, one of the floor pans have been patched but it was done very well you can hardly tell. The frame rails and torque boxes are perfect and there are no signs of any issues on the under carriage.
I also Installed a BEAR Disk brake Conversion kit on the car to bring all this power to a stop and it does a great job at doing that. I Installed a 6 point role cage as well to strengthen the support on the car. Interior is in Decent shape its presentable and original which is why I never touched it has normal wear but nothing that pops out at you. If you want a show car the interior could use a good cleaning and a nice touch but otherwise it looks very good.
So what does the car need? Everything is together car Runs, Drives, Stops and shifts perfect but could use carb rebuild to be at its best performance. Body is perfect no body work needed the car just needs all of the badges, chrome bumpers, bezels, hood Pins and some of the trim installed.
I have some of the trim that will go with the car but you will need a little bit of it as well.
So spend a few bucks on some finish work and you have a nice show car/driver I really want to Finish the car as I know it will be worth so much more but We are moving and I have other Classics I am taking with me. So my loss is your gain, I don't need the money so please no Stupid offers as I am pretty Firm on the price. NOTE: Car has no Power steering the Family ordered this car from the factory as a bare bones big engine lots of power car, they wanted Power and thats what they got so the car didn't have many options other then one hell of a drivetrain. I Installed the Disk Brake Conversion for personal taste, I built the car to my liking with no plans of ever selling it.
