1967 Mustang Base Coupe .
Not perfect but very nice+, Bought another car and wife says this one must go (actually I said I would if she let me buy before selling. Super Low Reserve
Extremely reliable.- always starts right up no matter how long it sits , idles smooth, shifts easily, all synchro’s good, great gas mileage Originally purchased from an adult female in my neighborhood who owned it for 25 plus years.
Took everything off., windshield out, did a very deep clean. New fluids, plugs, wires, battery, fuel pump, door hinge, windshield and various other NOS items found on Ebay. Had her painted this gorgeous black with 10% blue and 5% red pearl.
Spent the next two plus years letting it cure while fussing with anything else I could find while it mostly sat and cured.{Her Sub-woofer came with it}easily removed. I originally took it out, then had it sitting around taking up storage space, got bored and put it back in with a new Bluetooth head unit. Could use new rear speakers. They sound ok for 6X9s but the aluminum grills don't fit right anymore. Believe me I have tried.
Absolutely everything works as it should except the trunk light and the fuel gauge, which reads 3/4 when full.
Two rubs in paint on left side side where it rubbed the rubber on garage door side trim trying to pull it too far over. Mostly rubbed out but still shows in the right light.
Can't drive anywhere without attracting attention.. Endless thumbs up, "my uncle had one", "love your car"..
