Description
Up for sale is my pride and joy 1965 Mustang GT coupe project. The Car is a genuine 4 Speed manual, GT coupe with A/C

I have all import approval paperwork
Everything on this car is Brand new or restored to its original condition as per factory specifications. No costs sparred on this restoration!
Ive been working on it since 2008 when i purchased it from the US, but it looks like time got the better of me. Countless hours and money has been put into this car to get it to what is it today.
All original parts that have been restored have also been Phosphate coated to protect against rust and to meet factory specs.
All work carried out by an industry professional who specialises in Ford Mustang restorations and myself.
Car has been Sandblasted. I have replaced 2 rear quarters with genuine Ford NOS panels and the floor pan has been changed.
Once that was completed, the car was then placed onto a rotisserie to prepare the undercarriage. As you can see in the photos, it has been prepped and painted in the original red oxide as per factory specifications. Brand new brake lines fitted, diff has been fully reconditioned and painted to original specs. Gearbox is fully reconditioned with a brand new heavy duty clutch and flywheel. Orignal brake calipers have been reconditioned and brand new rotors and pads fitted. Steering box has been reconditioned as well. Brand new twin exhaust system fitted with brand new original Ford NOS trumpet tips. Original exhaust manifolds have been HPC coated also.
The 289 Windsor is the original motor, has been rebuilt from standard bore to 0.20 thou. Fully reconditioned and balanced. All surfaces have been decked. All brand new parts fitted (rings, flat top pistons, clevite bearings, heavu duty balancer and double row timing chain, etc). Cam is slightly bigger than standard. Engine has been painted black with original Gold accents as per factory. Brand new NOS clutch fan, brand new radiator and A/C dryer. The original Autolite 4 barrel carby has been rebuilt also.
There is alot of extra parts coming along with the car which will take too long to mention. 98% is there. Some have been sandblasted, painted or ready for paint. All original interior is there (needs to be reupholstered). All the chrome mouldings have been re chromed, buffed and polished ready to be fitted (as pictured).
The car is pretty much ready for paint and assembly. As you can see, engine bay and undercarriage does not need to be touched. Original Colour is Ivy Green.
Im sure i have left stuff out, there is just too much to mention. Photos and discription don't do the car enough justice, it needs to be seen to appreciated.
