1986 Mustang GT Hatchback - 1-Owner Car
For Sale I have a 1-owner 1986 Mustang GT that is approximately 95% original since new. This is my wife’s car and she is the original owner. The car was purchased early in April of 1986 from Metro Ford, Schenectady, NY. This 302 CI was the first year of the fuel injection. We have all original paperwork from the sale. Please keep in mind when looking that this is a thirty four year old car. Should you have any questions please ask prior to bidding. Any questions asked other than on ebay mail will not be answered; I've been burned to many times. Thank you for looking.
Exterior Features-
Ø Original Black Paint with grey trim.
Ø Original Numbers Matching drive train.
Ø Original Miles: 46,098k
Ø Original Jack & Spare (never used).
Ø Never been in an accident and stored in our garage all its life.
Ø Never driven in snow and has only seen rain approximately five times.
Ø Car has never been abused; wife has never had a traffic ticket (What does that tell you).
Interior Features-
Ø Automatic Over Drive Transmission, (AOD).
Ø Charcoal Interior/ 2-tone (took her 4-months to get this car from the factory delivered due to interior color combination).
Ø Bucket Seats w/ AOD Automatic shift.
Ø Backseat Folds Down.
Ø Kenwood AM/FM Cassette Player- Not original to car, I have the original AM/FM Radio that goes with the sale.
Issues that I’m aware of-
Ø Passenger Side Fender- Some of the top area has a slight fogging in the paint (may be some of the clear coat is compromised).
Ø Rug area just behind driver’s side has a circle of loom damaged about 8-10 inches.
Parts Not Original to Car-
Ø Cat-Back Exhaust is Flowmaster.
Ø Wheels & Tires are aftermarket.
Ø Hood-scoop is from an earlier year mustang; however,it was a Ford NOS part when I put it on and had it painted to match hood decal.
Ø Rear wing was an NOS part I purchased from a ford dealer back in ’86 and had painted to match body color. This part was one half of the turbo SVO Mustang rear bi-spoiler option.
** The car is for-sale locally also. I reserve the right to end the auction early.
** Payment- There will be a $500.00 non-refundable cash deposit required within 48 hours via Escrow.com and will be applied to the total sale price of car. The balance is due within 72 hours via Escrow.com.
** The car is sold "as is" condition, there is no warranty accompanying this vehicle.
** I do have the original rally wheels and the original tires if the buyer is interested in purchasing those separately.
