Description
1992 Ford Mustang 5.0 5-speed Notchback. A west coast car until 1/21 this is by far the cleanest, most original looking, undamaged notch I have seen in years. Much of that due to a lifetime on the west coast(CA) having been sold new in Washington state and consequently exhibiting no rust or repair anywhere on the car. It also appears that this very shiny paint is mostly original including vin stickers pointing toward a no-hit ever car. The hood is a replacement steel unit with louvers($600) with a repaint in the original code along with stainless hinges and radiator mounts. Front bumper cover could benefit from a repaint as it has a few nicks as is to be expected. Mechanically the car has been upgraded to the tune of many thousands of dollars. The car has new Cobra 4WDB with five lug hubs using perfect 17x8 Bullit wheels and Nankang 245/45R17 tires along with a fresh four wheel alignment just finished. Rear is an original 8.8 posi with 3.27 gear and all new tubular suspension, springs and four gas-adjust shocks. Front suspension is original control arms with new factory springs, struts and Maximum Motorsports caster/camber plates. These are the ones that cost $ and don't rattle. There is a rear tower brace, new sway bar links, bolt-in frame connectors with seat mounts and an aluminum driveshaft. Fuel tank is brand new Ford with Walbro 350 GPH pump and filters. Up front is a Mishimoto aluminum radiator, hoses and overflow tank cooled with a Flex-A-Lite electric fan, shroud and adjustable controller. Battery is new NAPA(Optima in photos quit) with a new Gen111 alternator, starter and water pump. Inside is a clean, original and fully functional dash. This car has PS, PB, PW, Cruise and remote trunk release. The cruise is non functional as some moron cut the cable but a new cable is included. In fact and extra complete cruise unit is also included. The engine is this gorgeous car is a very capable unit starting with a built 5.0, F303 camshaft, Edelbrock aluminum heads, GT-40 upper and lower intake, aluminum pulleys with smog pump eliminator pulley, eight quart Milodon oil pan, fluid damper, MSD distributor, a 93 Cobra ECU/Mass air unit along with corresponding 24 lb. injectors. We also have BBK headers, air filter, fuel rails(AN), adjustable pressure regulator with gauge, throttle body and EGR elimination plate. This engine powers a Tremec 5-speed, aluminum driveshaft on a new crossmember with poly mounts and an adjustable clutch cable. We also have Ford Motorsports valve covers, an Innovate mixture gauge with it's own O2 sensor. Exhaust is a complete stainless cat free H pipe system from Flowmaster that is a bit on the loud side. There is more such as the new AM-FM-CD player and speakers. All new Corbeau seats have been installed both front and rear. These alone were close to $2k. Everything electrical(minus cruise) functions well including all lights, wipers etc. I can't stress enough how very nice and complete this car is and it now qualifies for vintage insurance. Please note two things; As always there will be absolutely no test pilots. If you need to drive it I understand but that won't happen as we don't need a review class on that topic and the starting price is the rock bottom number, low ballers please move on. In that this car is 29 years old and highly modified there is no warranty what so ever on anything. No trades desired unless you happen to have steel 1932 Ford coupe in the garage. This car has a clean, clear NYS title in my name. No games played here. Thanks!
