HEAD LIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK!
BRAKE LIGHTS WORK! TURN SIGNALS WORK!
GAS GAUGE WORKS! SPEEDOMETER WORKS!
WINDSHIELD WIPERS WORK!
HORN AND DOME LIGHT NOT WORKING!
WHAT IS THE HISTORY? We bought the car from a man from Green Mountain North Carolina. He was at the large car show in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The title is North Carolina and clean, it is signed off correctly, I guarantee a good title!
HOW IS THE ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION? Its a good running inline 6 cylinder with adequate power. It is very clean, I hear no knocks or unwanted rattles and see no blue smoke. The carburetor is original and been worked on, the choke and spray pump are not working 100%. We ordered a new one that will be here Saturday. It does run fine now!
HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its a C4 automatic that shifts good
HOW IS THE PAINT? Upper end driver quality, looks good, but you will find several touched up chips and flaws. I see no dents or dings and it is not bad wavy down the sides. Shine is very good we went over it with a polish/cleaner and it makes it look fresh. Pictures make it perfect, beware and read on ebay.
HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Looks new! No wear on the seats or carpet, door panels good, headliner very good, no cracks in the dash pad, package tray good. Painted trim has been repainted.
HOW IS THE CHROME? Over all i consider it nice. bumpers shine good with one tiny bad place about the size of a dime. Stainless trim good with some very minor tiny dings if you look hard.
HOW IS THE GLASS? Side window good and roll up and down fine. Back window good, windshield has no wiper marks.
HOW ARE THE TIRES? They look new, they are radials on original rims with original hubcaps.
HOW ARE THE BRAKES? I consider them very decent for 1965 not power drum brakes. They satisfy me, but lots of up grades are available.
HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? To me it drives good, it is not power steering, but steers plenty easy for me
HOW ABOUT RUST ISSUES? Floors look original and good, looks like a rear quarter panel has been replaced. The rear drop downs in the trunk have been patched and maybe some other small places. Thin under coating so you can see repaired areas, they just didn't sand some and paint slick, it a old car on the under side, it is clean.
HOW IS THE PANEL FIT? Its a early Mustang and nothing to brag about. They were not famous for good panel fit. Trunk gap is wide in places, right door gap is wide, just the way it is. It should have been adjust and fixed before paint, it made the past owner happy and its just the way it is on a car of this price.
