This Mustang was build December 7th, 1967 in Metuchen, New Jersey and was ordered with a 289-2V and a four speed Manual Transmission. Only 1,179 cars were ordered with with two codes. As well, the Mustang was ordered with a the rare center console and with the Candy Apple Paint, Sport Deck Rear Seat, and Black interior. Only 2,247 Mustangs were built with this paint/trim Codes. The Mustang has gone through a 5 year full meticulous restoration including a Powerful 390 Engine along with 428SCJ heads. These SCJ Heads came from a 1968 Mustang Shelby. The engine has gone through an extensive rebuild and it performs and sounds beautifully. Every inch of this car has been replaced with numbers matching parts. Proper Exhaust, New Gas tank, wiring, starter, alternator, all new Brake lines, Calipers and Flex Lines. All New Interior, New Rad and hoses, New steering box, Hurst 4-speed, All new chrome(NOS), New clutch and Drive Shaft. The paint was professionally done and costed alone over $8000.00. The car has been painted to the original Candy Apple Red. New BF Goodrich tires P225/70R75 all around. New vintage Rims 5-Spoke. Turn signals on hood even work! The Frame and chassis has been completely re-done, painted and detailed with all new nuts and bolts. The frame has been re-enforced for added strength. No expense has been spared on this restoration.
