Description

I am selling by beautifully restored 66 Fastback prostreet car. This car was sandblasted to bare metal and a has undergone a nut and bolt rebuild. Once sandblasted I found old repairs to the lower quarters near the wheel well that had been repaired. I cut out the old repair and replaced it with new lowers. There was very little rust repair needed on the car when it returned from sandblasting (see picture). The backhalf was professionally done and looks great and also has frame connectors. The previous owner did a poor fab job on the sheet metal floors (under front seats), so I replaced it with factory sheet metal and made it look as if it would have from the factory. The hood is fiberglass with a metal core. The car was finished with base /clear Guardsman Blue. The car was not built as a drag car and is street driven. I have put on approximately 250 miles on the car since it was completed and the car drives great. Has a BeCool radiator module and runs at 180 on hot days.
The engine is a 331 stroker that dynoed at 488 hp. It started as a 302 block, AFR heads, H beam rods, and Eagle crank.
Transmission is a fresh built C4 with a mild shift kit connecting to the Ford 9 Inch read end with an aluminum driveshaft. The center section is a 456 gear (spool) with Mosher axles.
The suspension is stock (brand new) style in the front with a Shelby drop. The rear end is a ladder bar style with Afco coilovers.
The car has Wilwood disc brakes, master cylinder, and proportioning valve.
15 gallon aluminum fuel cell mounted in the trunk.
American Autowire wiring harness digital gauges with tachometer.
15 x 14 Billet Specialties Street lite wheels on the rear and 15 x 4 on the front.
Heater box installed but not connected.
Every single piece on this car with the exception of the glass is new and/or restored to new. I am selling this car at no reserve as it is the absolute bottom dollar that I will take for the car, so lets skip the games of trying to steal it! Price a decent driver fastback and then go build it for way more than my starting bid. I will send a video of the car running / driving to anyone interested just send me a message.
