1966 Ford Mustang Coupe

This is an excellent example of a 1966 Ford Mustang coupe. This car has been serviced recently by the owner for exceptional drivability. The brakes have been gone through with a new master cylinder and freshly turned drums with less than 20 miles on them. A new dash has been installed and seat belts installed for safety. This car is sporting white paint with a blue interior to give off a classic 1960's look to it. The car was repainted a little more than 10 years ago and has held up nicely although does have a few flaws. The interior is excellent with no rips, tears or discoloring. This is a factory 289 C code car with air conditioning. The engine does have some speed parts on it including an Edelbrock air cleaner, chrome valve covers, and an Edelbrock intake. The AC and heat are not currently hooked up and further servicing may need to be done by the new owner. The engine is running strong and starts quickly with a few pumps of the gas pedal. The car has a 3-speed automatic transmission and shifts nicely between gears. The car was kept in a dry garage and is a well-maintained weekend cruiser. This car does have some rust in the inside rear fender on the right side of the car on the left side in the same stop there is no rust. Although the paint job is fairly recent the car does have some bubbling as shown in pictures on both the left and right side door as well as near both sides of the front of the rear wheel arches. The pinch welds on the car are not bent up and out of shape. The car does have some rust near the right side floor contoured frame connectors. Other than that the floors are solid. The drip rails also do not have any rust or bubbling showing. This car has a newer radio and speakers installed which work fantastic and the high and low beam lights shine bright. The turns signals and brake lights also light up and work. The windshield wipers work in a fast swift motion. The car's horn does not work currently and will need to be hooked up as well as the steering wheel center installed back into place. The car does leak some oil but this is very standard for cars of the period. The oil has been replaced by the owner within the past week. The chrome on the bumpers and on other parts is presentable but is not show car quality. This is an original C-Code car but is unsure if it is a matching numbers car. The odometer reads 27,000 miles but true mileage is unknown. This car is an excellent example of a jump-in and enjoy summertime cruiser please message me with any questions or for more pictures.
