I purchased this beautiful car in 2010 whilst working overseas. I have enjoyed this car thoroughly and am selling as there is simply no longer room in the garage.
History-
I purchased this car in 2010 from Washington State. The previous owner has said that it was a summer use car only and was never exposed to salted roads. Considering the age of the car and that it still has the original floor pans with very minimal rust (very minor rust on the pans and sill) this does have credibility. Due to registration records in the USA I was not able to confirm any further background on the vehicle.
I purchased the car with the following alterations-
American Racing Mags (as pictured) fitted with Goodyear Eagle GTII tyres front and rear 215/60R14 85% rubber remaining
Clarion CD player with matching speakers fitted to the parcel shelf
Loud exhaust system - just passing VACC inspection
I have completed the following work-
CSRP Drum brake conversion. Disc on the front original drums remain on the rear. This included upgrading from a single reservoir to a dual system
Front suspension rebuild
Heater system service
New Hood lining fitted
New Door trims fitted
New Light lens fitted to centre console
New interior sill/scuff plates with Mustang Decals
Replacement Original style owners manual
Autolite 4100 Carburettor rebuilt
Electric Points and MSD Coil
The wiring is getting on in age and needs an overhaul. I recently purchased a complete painless wiring loom which will be included with the vehicle valued at approx $1,400.
