Description
This car is a great base for a build that can go in any direction.Good overall condition with lots of desirable upgrades already done.
Drivetrain: Fully forged DSS racing 331 shortblock with TFS twisted wedge aluminum heads.Trick Flow intake with 75mm BBK throttle body.MSD ignition box.AEM stealth fuel pump and fully new fuel lines with billet fuel rails and adjustable regulator.30lb injectors and slot MAF recently dyno tuned.Custom cam grind for the parts set.Good T5 with aftermarket clutch with billet quadrant and adjuster.5.0 pro shifter.Rear end is from a Lincoln mkVII and has welded tubes and 3:73 gears. BBK long-tube headers with catted BBK H-pipe. 2.5" all the way out with brand new Borla XS mufflers.
Chassis:Car has a tubular K-member and A-arms in front and tubular rear control arms.Polyurethane engine and tranny mounts.Strange 10-way adjustable coil-overs.Brakes are 14” brembos with bigger master cylinder.The car feels very tight and planted under power.Currently a manual steering rack, but I will include a full setup to convert to power steering.Maximum Motorsports full length welded subframe connectors.There is a line lock system wired to a button on the shifter, but I have never tried to make it function.
Body:body is almost completely straight.I think the doors might be from a different car because they have some rust at the bottom.The rest of the car is pretty clean.Excellent floors and Shock towers.There has been some kind of repair on the left rear quarter pannel where the paint is now beginning to fail.Overall I’d say a “driver” quality paint job but a good base for a restoration someday.
Interior:previous owner got this car as a shell and put in lots of new or good used interior pieces.Headliner is very nice.Carpet appears to be new and there is some sound deadening material.The seats are all excellent and clearly recently restored.Center console is in good shape but some attention could be paid to getting everything to fit together just right.Some trim pieces are not installed tightly.No cracks in the dash.Only thing that doesn’t work presently is the windshield wipers.Presently the wrong motor is installed and the plugs don’t match.I have some trim pieces removed from the steering column as I was going to try a new switch.Please don’t hesitate to ask any questions.
