Description
For Sale By Owner. Tastefully modified 1987 Mustang GT hatchback. Very original 5 speed car. Original Scarlet Red over gray interior. Car has matching VIN stickers on all panels. Original glass minus windshield. Almost 155k miles on it, but much of the car has never been apart. Still retains many original stickers and plastic guards under the hood, all original fasteners throughout. This car is a very RUST FREE Southwest Montana car it’s entire life. Never wrecked, clean Carfax. Believed to be a 5 owner car. Adult owned, unabused Foxbodys are getting harder and harder to find! This car would be a joy to restore, drive as-is, or do a ground up build on!
This car spent most of its life in and out of carports and partially covered storage. The clear coat on the paint is peeling, and it has several small dents and cosmetic blemishes that I would consider minor for a car that is approaching 35 years old! The paint still shines quite well on the vertical surfaces! It was adult owned, and it is reflected in the many small unmolested aspects of the car. The interior has the usual wear marks on the seats, and some stains. The car runs and drives as it should, and sounds good with the exhaust system!
The short list of modifications are a Flowmaster cat-back exhaust, K&N filter, plug wires, 5 lug swap, SVE wheels on 555 Nitto G2s (245/275s), LMR cup holder console, and Alpine stereo unit.
Brand new battery, brake master and pads/ rotors from the 5 lug swap.
Some original 4 lug parts go with the car as well as the original console and headlights.
Unable to keep because of too many other projects!
This is a great car that just needs a good home! They don’t come around like this too often anymore!
