1965 Ford Mustang Fastback C Code V8 Auto Project for Sale.
Overview:
Engine -Running C Code 289 complete engine. Idles and runs well. Sounds Great! Factory power steering system
Transmission - Shifts into all gears without an issue. C4 automatic 3 speed.
Interior - interior is complete and in fair condition. Black with matching fold down rear seat. (Dash is not hooked up)
Bodywork - Paint is old and very tired but has a cool ratrod look to it. pretty straight for a old mustang.
Floor pan have been repaired some years ago. Will need patching on the drivers front and passenger side rear for sure. Front frame rails will need some minor patch work. Rears are in worser shape, will need sections replaced. There is some rust in the bottom of both doors,a patch on the front of the hood and a pinhole just above the deckled.
Glass - All glass is good condition.
Overall this is a great project to build which runs,drives with everything there. This car has been off the road several years and will need mechanical and rust repairs before it would be considered a safe driver but she does run, drive, stop and steer.
