1966 Mustang Fastback 2+2. 69,XXX original miles. Comes with clean Michigan title. Sold As-Is.
Solid body, some surface rust in some areas. The interior floorpans have surface rust but are solid. The cowl and firewall have little to no surface rust and are solid. Car sat covered in a garage for 27 years, engine is seized so it does not currently run. I do NOT know what it will take to get it to turn over as I have not tried anything. Could be minor, gunk build up, mice, etc, or it could be more severe. I will be conservative and I always assume some/alot of work will be needed. Please do the same when buying.
Transmission moves through gears well but not sure if the rest of the drivetrain needs any work as I have not driven the car.
Raven Black (the fenders were possibly repainted since there are no existing holes for the emblems) exterior and light blue interior with minor defects/normal wear on the exterior and interior. Interior footwells need to covered on the outer walls. Driver side mirror is loose and needs to be seated correctly. Electrical is good and was tested with a battery jumper but battery will need to be replaced.
All glass is intact and healthy!! The windows need to be greased up as they are not as smooth after for sitting for so long.
Factory 289 V8 2bbl with 4 speed hurst shifter. Drum brakes have been removed in order to move the car so the car does not have brakes.
This vehicle will be sold with 8 original 5 lug rims, 6 original hubcaps, disassembled drum brakes, original spare tire, 4 newer tires (already on the car), a few extra parts, letters, original chrome trim excluding the windshield edge trim, a toy model, and a poster.
Parking brake is stiff and the car needs fluids/lubcricants. Frame rails are very solid along with body!! View FAQ.
