Description
This car has had two owners, and has been owned by present owner for 20 years. Originally sold by Villa Ford in Orange, California. From new, car has been stored when not in use in a heated, sealed-floor garage.
Car has been impeccably maintained, with regular oil/fluid changes. Convertible top is original, with some wear visible, but still very presentable. At car shows, this pony always gets attention due to the under-hood originality.
This car is highly original - no engine modifications whatsoever, original interior, paint, and decals. Only service items that wore out were replaced with near-identical parts. All engine compartment vacuum fittings are in place, Ford plant markings are still visible in engine compartment. Engine starts and runs with no visible smoke. Shifting is crisp, and clutch engages directly. This is an excellent driver's car. With roller-rocker lifters/cam, factory headers, and old-school Holley 4 bbl. carb, this is one desirable vintage pony.
There are a couple of very small door dings (no paint loss), a couple of small scratches in the hood decal, and some fading of the Ford insignia mounted on the hood. There is some slight staining of the seat fabric at the top outside surface. Otherwise, the upholstery is very nice, including a mint boot that covers the folded convertible top. The electric/hydraulic top system works fine to raise and lower the top. All electric systems are normal with no warning lights actively engaged.
Includes original documentation as Ownercard and Extended Service Plan card. An unmounted NOS set of vintage Goodyear P225/60VR15 Gatorback tires is included in purchase price.
