1966 Ford Mustang Coupe V8 302

For Sale - 1966 Mustang Coupe. It has a V8 302 4 barrel w/ a C4 automatic transmission. The front suspension is all new, bushings, ball joint, control arms, idler arm, etc. The rear leaf springs and bushings are all new. Also new shocks all the way around. The steering gear box has been replaced with a new one, which if you know how difficult it is to swap one out, you will appreciate that it has been done. The front steering components have been replaced with all new, and has had a front end alignment done. Originally the brakes where all drum, and have now been converted to four wheel SSBC disc brakes. Also the brakes where manual and have been converted to power brakes. The engine is a rebuilt 302 with a brand new 4 barrel intake and carb, it starts, runs and idles great. It has long tube headers and true dual exhaust. The engine has plenty of horsepower and torque. The automatic transmission shifts perfectly. The radiator has been changed to a new aluminum 3 core with electric fan with adjustable temp controller (mounted on inside drivers fender). It has brand new Hankook tires, 225/45ZR17 front and 245/45ZR17 rear. The tires are mounted on brand new American Racing Authentic Hot Rod AR105 Torq Thrust wheels, 17x7 front and 17x8 rear. The door handles, lock sets, tail lights, backup lights, front turn signal lights, emblems, front and rear bumpers, gas cap, grill w/ horse and corral, side mirrors, drip edge moldings, windshield wipers and arms, are all brand new. All weatherstripping is brand new, windshield, back window, side window beltline strips(felt), doors, truck lid, cowl, etc. The carpet, dash pad, door panels, shifter handle and bezel, radio, and center console are new. The gauge cluster has been restored with white faced gauges, also tach is new and also white faced. Comes with a new car cover.
The car runs, drives, steers, and brakes great. It is a very fun car to drive. The car was painted in today's Ford Mustang Sterling Gray Metallic and has Matte Black stripes. The exterior I would rate a 7 out of 10. The body has a few dings here and there. The paint has a couple of very small chips. It was meant to be a fun daily driver not an award winning show car that you never dare drive. The interior I would also rate a 7 out 10. The passenger seat back has a tear the size of dime that's been fixed but you still can see. The passenger inside door has a dent in it. The metal dash has scratches and scuffs. The back bench seat is original and is worn. The engine and trans I would rate a 9 out of 10, not there's anything wrong with them, there just not brand new and all dressed up to be rated a 10.
