Ford: Mustang Convertible

1 Owner 1965 Mustang Convertible 289 Automatic Rare Factory Bench Seat Baby Blue on Navy Blue interior with black top. This car was in storage for 20 years. In 2009 the mustang was taken to a restoration shop for an overhaul. During the 3 year overhaul the car under went a restoration of the exterior, interior, top and all metal needing replacing at a cost of $30,000 and has never been put on the road since. I have some pictures as the work was being done and a folder full or receipts! The exterior is beautiful almost all new metal, new paint, new chrome bumpers, new door handles etc. The interior is completely restored new everything, door panels, carpet, seats, foam, dash pad the list goes on and on! The convertible frame was redone and a new vinyl top installed with new chrome bow (the top motor works but not hooked up). The under side has new metal but not detailed. Under the hood its basically original not much done except a new water pump, new battery and rebuilt carburetor (starts right up and runs nice). All the expensive work is done but the car has been off the road since 1986 so it needs tires, maybe a fresh tune up (runs okay now but I think it should be freshen up since the rest of the car is so nice) basically a quick once over before and long drives.
