Ford Motor Company built 1,865 429 Cobra Jet Mustangs in 1971 (353 C-codes) (1,512 J-codes). According to Marti Autoworks, this C-code 429 Cobra Jet is 1 of 353 built in 1971. This makes it one of the rarest Big Block Mustangs Ford ever produced. (Information provided by Marti Autoworks and published in Mustang Monthly, September 2006). This car has been featured in both Mustang Monthly and Mustang Illustrated magazines. This car has been awarded "Best in Class" at numerous car shows and is a wonderful car to own, drive and show.
Beautifully restored and repainted only once in it's gorgeous "Grabber Green Metallic" color. All mechanical systems have been serviced, refurbished or overhauled as needed. Original engine and transmission rebuilt and in excellent condition. This car still uses it's original Rochester Quadrajet carburetor. Original "Space Saver Spare Tire" and never used tire inflator bottle are still in the trunk.
I have owned this car since March of 1994 when the odometer read 20,162 tmu. The odometer now reads 26,667 tmu. Call (970) 485-0611 with questions. No trades. Refundable $500 deposit if you do not love the car upon pick up.
