Description

65 fastback. Started rebuild from a shell about 4 years ago. Actual mileage on rebuild is unknown because the speedometer gear is incorrect. Shows that the car is going much faster than actual which in turn shows more miles. My guess is less than 1000. I bought this from a friend that had it for about 15 years and never did much with it. As shown in pics there are some cosmetic defects. Paint in some areas around rear scoops looks to have raised up or have air behind it. With saying that obviously they are molded in. There are some other custom areas on the car like the rear quarter extensions that are molded in, rear valance, front valance, and smoothed over cowl (spot between hood and windshield). Car has fiberglass cowl hood, rear trunk lid with built in spoiler, front, and rear valance, and side scoops. Most trim accessories were replaced when built as well as many other parts like rear window, weather stripping, removable steering wheel, glove box, dash pad, instrument cluster, bezel, dolphin gauges (rpm, water, oil, fuel, volts, speedometer) head liner, wiper switch, head light switch Radio hole has been deleted, kirkey seats with custom seat covers, custom built in rear car seat, 5 point pro series G Force harnesses, custom floor pans, trans cover. Hurst shifter, c4 auto trans from PA super comp transmission with reverse manual valve body, and trans brake. Coan convertor with 3500 stall. Moser spool, moser 35 spline axels, 373 gear, narrowed 9" ford rear. Drive shaft loop. 4 link. Disc brakes front and rear with line lock. Engine block is a Dart 4.125, bored to 363qi, scat rods, and crank, j&e pistons, super victor intake. Max ported victor jr aluminum heads, solid roller cam. Motor makes about 550 hp. Nx nitrous plate, combo flo, air actuated, up to 500 shot. Have not successfully sprayed nitrous in this car. Everything was since tested with meters and worked. Digital 7 plus msd box, blaster coil pack, manga fuel fuel parts, vacuum pump, with canister. Magna fuel pro star 500 electric fuel pump (does not like long trips) had to replace bearings because it gets hot. RCI fuel cell. optima battery. Billet speciality wheels. Hood pins. Adjustable Coil over shocks. 315/60/15 tires in rear. 4 barrel carb ( I believe a 650). MSD billet distributor. Long tube headers (have been cut and welded to fit Don't look great) K&N air cleaner. Door glass does not seal the best. The driver side window rolls up and down, but the passenger side needs assistance. Front quarter windows have pitting. I'm not trying to scare anyone just trying to be honest. As with any old car it will need tinkering with, but that's the fun part. These are the basics and I'm sure I will most likely add to this as time goes on. There has been a lot of time and money spent in this, and you might even say this is my dream car so I'm not going to "give it away".
