beautiful convertible is in excellent condition bumper to bumper and its fun to drive. The stock 4.6L V8 starts, runs and rumbles
just as it should. There are no leaks
anywhere. The five speed manual
transmission shifts perfectly, and, coupled with traction control and antilock brakes,
gives the car a real sports car feel.
The oxford white exterior shines and has no scratches, dents or damage of any kind. The medium parchment leather interior is in perfect condition and includes the interior upgrade package. Carpeting and upgraded floor mats look great. Everything works on the car. It runs and drives perfectly. The convertible top is in excellent condition and travels up and down effortlessly. The power windows, seat, door locks, keyless remote, clock, cruise control and every other piece of factory equipment works as new. The AC is cold and the heater is hot. The 17” premium alloy wheels are in excellent condition and look great.
Within the last 2000 miles I've installed 4 new Goodyear Eagle Sport Tires, replaced front and rear brake pads, resurfaced the front and rear brake rotors, replaced both front brake calipers and installed new windshield wipers. All service has been performed by the local Ford dealer. I also added a custom fit Covercraft Noah car cover and a new parade boot.
Around two years ago I replaced the factory stereo with a top-of-the-line Pioneer AOHX 5500BHS Stereo/DVD system. This Pioneer replaced the factory in-dash stereo and plays perfectly through the factory speakers. The stereo has remote control and incorporates a tilting, 7” color touch screen display. It features HD Radio/ Sirius Satellite Radio/ external USB connections and provides direct-connect and control of an IPOD using a smart cable installed in the glove box. The stereo adds hands-free Bluetooth connectivity and works with all Bluetooth enabled smart phones and MP3 devices. It plays all music and video formats including CD, DVD and MP3.
Last April we participated in the Ford-Sponsored Mustang 50th anniversary celebration at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in NC. As a part of that trip we got to drive the car 3 laps around the speedway at a maximum speed of 85 MPH. Still, that was a lot of fun.
