Ford: Mustang GT

I am selling my 1998 Mustang GT convertible. This is a very low mileage vehicle with only 57k miles. That is less than 20 oil changes worth of driving in the last 16 years. It is in very good condition for the year. The previous owner was a 70 year old man who took very good care of it. It runs and drives great. In my opinion the burgundy and tan color combination was the best looking for this year. I am looking at another toy, so I have decided to sell this one.This car was originally from southern California, so it is very clean and rust free. It looks to have been repainted at some point in its life. The paint shows very nice with only minor flaws for its age. The drivetrain is solid. It has factory dual exhaust, and the 4.6L high output engine. The car runs and drives good with no unusual sounds. It drives straight down the road and stops well. There are no leaks under the car. The matching 245-45-17 inch tires are in good shape with well over 50% tread. The glass is in very good condition and the car retains its factory Ford windshield. The convertible top is in excellent shape, and the back window glass is new. The seats and carpet are in above average condition with only a small separation on the driver’s upper seat back seam that could be easily sewn back together. There are no strange smells or stains. There are no cracks or splits on the dash. It has 4 factory mats (the rears are new). All power windows, locks, seat and top function correctly. The optional factory Mach 460 stereo sounds great with a functional compact disc player. This car has only been a weekend cruiser for us. It does have plenty of get up and go, but has never been abused or molested. The only modification was a better breathing intake system, but the factory original will be included with the sale. The car is in good to excellent condition for its age. It was recently detailed. The oil was just changed with Valvoline and all fluids have been topped off. This Mustang can be driven anywhere. The air conditioning blows ice cold and the heater works great.
