Description

I bought this Mustang back in July of 2013. It had 11000 miles. I have always been a chevy guy but I wanted a manual sports car and I thought the mustang was the most bang for the buck and this one was like new owned buy an older guy and I could tell it had not been abused. The tire wear was even the back tires had as much tread as the fronts plus it had weathertech floor mats front and rear. You could just tell he had taken good care of it. The car was spotless. The only thing I could find was a rock chip in the windshield behind the rearview mirror that he had fixed but you can see it if you look for it. I have fixed a few very small rock chips in bumper with Dr color chip .I will give the kit to new owner It works very well. I am 59 years old I got all my hot roding out of my system in my youth. I have never abused this car. I just enjoy a manual trans and I love the sound of a good motor. So why sell it? My wife will not drive a stick shift. "Im ok with that! haha" The thing is my kids and grand kid are 150 miles away. That is how all the miles were put on the car 350-400 on the weekend. It is not my daily driver some times i wont start it for 2 or 3 weeks at a time. It sits in garage. Never drive in snow or bad weather. I have 2 Avalanches my wife is going to wear them both out going to see the kids so I finally agreed to sell the mustang and get something with an automatic. Now I will tell you what I have done to it. I have used Amsoil synthetic oil since 1974. The first thing I did was change all fluids to Amsoil engine, trans, diff. I change the engine oil around 8000 miles not needed It holds 8 quarts and I only put highway miles on it but I enjoy messing with it. If you have been in a mustang and listened to the stereo you know the factory speakers suck! I enjoy music so I replaced all the door speakers with MB Quart component 5 inch mid and external tweeters. The rear shelf speakers were replaced with MB Quart 2way ovals. I also added a Kicker sub and amp built just for this 2012 mustang all wiring is plug in NO cuts. The amp powers all speakers not just the sub. I also covered the trunk floor and under back seat with dynamat. The down side to that was I couldnt hear the engine. The stock mufflers sounded ok not great. So I added GT 500 mufflers. They sound great not loud untill you step on it and they are very quiet at 70 mph they dont drown like some mufflers do. I also replaced the rubber bushing in the trans shifter with a hard after market bushing It makes it feel alot firmer. I replaced the steering wheel with a custom flat bottom wheel just because I liked the way it looked. And it feels good in your hands. All the switches and air bag work with this wheel.I also added the black mess grill cover just to protect it. It can be easily removed. I will include the stock wheel and mufflers if you want them. Installed new goodyears about 6000 miles ago. I went with them because the pirelli tires the came from factory were the loudest tires I have ever heard. At about 15000 miles they started making a roaring sound and got so bad I took them off. The Goodyears I put on are not the most high performance tire they are designed for wear and quiet. I was not planning on racing or going around a corner at 100 mph so I went with them. The car has a transferable 75000 mile Ford warranty that expires 01/15/2018 or 75000 miles. It will get 26+ mph if you will drive 65 Just got back from Colorado drove 900 miles 85 mph on I 70 got 24.3 mpg. Man I must be getin old talking about gas mileage.
You wont find a nicer mustang with all the extras. Hate to let her go Its just like I want it.
