1966 Mustang Factory-GT, K-code Convertible
o Gorgeous factory GT convertible (factory GT – fogs wired with drive lights, frame-rail exhaust supports, rear floorpan supports for exhaust-hangers, correctly punched radiator-support for foglight harness)
o Factory K-code with 9” diff, 19/20 heads and correct intake. If you don't know what a K-code is, this isn't the right car for you.
o The original candyapple-red paintwork was restored by a reputable bodyshop in San Francisco in 2005 (when I lived there..). Still shows extremely well, and the car has won multiple trophies at Mustang Club of Australia shows.
o A new top was installed at the time of the exterior refurbishment and shows very well.
o Rebuilt original 4-piston Kelsey-Hayes front disks stop this pony reliably, every time.
- Engine-bay
o New master-cylinder.
o The radiator was re-cored
o New battery
o H4 Halogen lights installed with relays
o Original Autolite 4100 1.12 man-choke carb sourced and restored. Runs beautifully.
o Correct HiPo distributor has been restored.
o New clutch & pressure-plate was installed ~ 3000 miles ago.
o Engine has not been touched. Runs perfectly with 165-169 PSI compression across all 8 cylinders.
- Suspension & Steering
o New upper & lower control arms
o New inner & outer tie-rods & ends
o New springs
o New spring perches
- Wheels & tyres
o Car currently is wearing 15x7 reproduction styled-steel wheels with 205/60/15 BF Goodrich T/A (front) and 215/60/15 (rear)
o Original styled-steel (with stainless-trim ring) restored wheels and dual-redline bias-ply tyres come with the car.
Too much to list, will impress any buyer and pass any test. Currently under club registration with the Mustang Owners Club of Western Australia. Multiple trophy-winner.
Plates are not included.
