1986 Ford Mustang GT convertible. 40602 actual documented miles. 5.0L HO (302ci). First year of (EFI) fuel-injected Mustang. Clean Carfax verifies mileage. Desirable 5-speed. Stainless steel exhaust and headers. Nice car. Cold AC. Power top with glass rear window in excellent condition. . Power windows. Power locks. Tilt. Cruise. Factory Premium stereo. Factory fog lamps. Perfect glass. Garaged. Perfect dash. No wear on steering wheel. Parade boot in excellent shape in factory carrier. Spare tire never down. Manuel and books. Adult owner. Never smoked in. Never raced or abused. Show or go. Strip or street. Service records available. Faster than later model GT's with factory body skirts which reduced wind coefficient. Highway Patrol used the LX models for pursuit vehicles (no skirts or oversized spoilers much like this earlier edition ). Drop-top Cop car. Stage III Performance Pursuit chip available. Car came from upstate South Carolina. Serviced at Burns Automotive for over 20 years. They build race cars but can fix anything Ferrari, Rolls-Royce, Maserati, Lotus, Harleys, ect but they specialize in American muscle. Not a rusty beach buggy. Sound investment sure to appreciate. The only other negative feedback was on a beautiful Harley-Davidson, which I disclosed the Super-E S&S carb leaked on occasion. I ordered a rebuild kit for the carb (which was not included in the sale) and was going to send him, at my expense. I was under no obligation to do so, but I wanted it to be right. Before I was able to send it, he gave me a negative feedback. I have bought and sold a Ferrari, Detomaso Pantera, several mid-year Corvettes (63-67), several pre-72 Stingrays, lots of Panheads, Knuckleheads, Shovels, Indians, Evos, Nortons, BSA, Rolxes ect. with no problems.
