Description
For sale here is my 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 with a 351 Cleveland small block. The car is in great driving condition and has had many new parts added to keep it looking good. This is a factory A/C car however the A/C components are not currently installed. I do have all the original parts that are included with the car.
The motor is a mild 351 Cleveland with Edelbrock carb and intake, shorty headers hooked up to custom X pipe exhaust with manual cut outs. This is a factory functional Ram Air car as you can see from the air cleaner and the duct work under the hood. I have also installed a Ford 4R70W transmission to add the much needed 4th gear overdrive. This trans swap allows you to drive this car at 70mph while turning a very calm 2100rpm making this car a perfect cruiser. Also added with this swap is a programmable US Shift 1 transmission controller. This allows you to tune the shift firmness, timing, ect. easily from right inside the vehicle. No laptop needed. A customer console and B&M shifter complete the trans swap very nicely. I still have the original transmission and driveshaft that will also be included in the sale so you could put it all back to original if you desired.
The paint and body are in great shape but are not perfect. There is no rust issues with this car and, from what I can tell, there has not been any body panel or floorboard replacements. The trunk is currently not finished but could easily be done in a weekend.
