I purchased this Mustang in 2006. I'm the third owner. It was my dream car, and I've been planning to fix it up, but my wife and I lost a company late last year so we've decided to let go in order to take care of some finances. I suggest bidding if you know how to work on and upgrade Mustangs. A few $k spent will increase her value dramatically!
I had the engine rebuilt in 2008 along with motor mounts and radiator. There are less than $3k miles on the current engine. Odometer reads 80,965. I also installed an electronic ignition, twin exhaust system, shocks, and white dashboard gauge covers . The car is also equipped with electronic door locks (not functional), and a hood-lock that I suggest be replaced.
The car starts up, sounds awesome, and runs fine considering it has been in my garage sitting for 5 years. It mainly needs body work. See all of my attached pictures. I don't suggest it as a daily driver yet since it has been sitting for so long. Routine inspection and service needed. Mainly:
BrakesSteering wheel/column tighteningTransmission fluidThere is a small/slow leak under the engine and the differential has a slow leak as well. I backed into a pillar in a parking structure which damaged the rear quarter panel. I don't have the key to the trunk any more, so it will need to be professionally replaced. Windshield weather strip needs to be replaced (it does have a leak if in the rain).
