RARE 1983 Ford Mustang GT Convertible Not 1984 Production Limited 1st yr run

Super Rare 1983 1/2 Ford Mustang GT convertible . 1983 saw the return of the Mustang convertible and as a test Ford made only 1001 Mustang GT convertibles in May of 1983. Ford performed a limited test run to gauge public reaction prior to 1984 vehicle production run. Only 993 were made for sale in the US the remaining vehicles were sold to Canada. 1983 also was also the first year of the 4 barrel carburator in the Mustang V8 model. Included with this vehicle is a full marti report that provide the specifics of this exact car and shows this is one of 124 vehicles produced exactually the same. Now think how many of those 124 are still around and how many look like this one. This is the second 1983 GT convertible I have owned. I owned one new in 1983. Since then finding out how rare they were I spent years trying to find another red on red rag top which I found over 4 years ago. I lived at the time only blocks from the beach and used it to go for nice slow drive on the coast. I now live in a busy city and no longer have the time to for sunset drives. Last year I had her freshened up and some fool back into her in the front drivers bumper and drove off. It will require touch up and a new side marker. After I refinished her I never installed the moldings or the emblems because I loved the clean sleek look. The winning buyer will recieve 2 sets of wheels and tires! Base LX wheels and tires, which are good for low cost rubber for daily use and a set of really rare ROH or Steeda Rim package. The prior owner installed a new AM/FM cassette player with aux input so you can listed to modern music, it does come with a period correct AM/FM cass as well. Other mods done by the prior owner are a full set of dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers and a edelbrock carburator. Prior owner also included brochures and repair guides and assorted paperwork. A/C works but needs a charge, power windows and locks and cruise all work. I have also included photos of when I got the car with the LX wheels and photos of it prior to refinishing.
