Description
This car was completely restored in 2002 by Riter
Restorations of East Rochester, NY. Every nut and bolt was removed from this
car and there are many new parts. I have owned this vehicle since 2003 and it
has always been garaged, driven occasionally, never seen rain. Original 289
"A" code engine, complete rebuild in 2001, bored .40 over, Cobra
rocker covers, Holley 4 brl. front pwr disc brakes, electronic ignition. Ford factory
four speed, rebuilt shifter (Hurst) and Ford 8 inch rear end with drum brakes.
PONY INTERIOR!! Numerous new parts.
I have a rally pac but not installed. Plus a $1500 radio system. I have most documentation on restoration.
When I bought this car it only had 1500 miles(undocumented). Now it hasjust over 6000 miles. According to Hagerty and NADA this vehicle is assessed at $52,000-$70,000. You will never lose your money. Great carand investment!!
Replaced parts when it was restored - fenders, inner & outer rockers, air dam, rear GT valance installed, quarter panels, new hood, door skins, new floor pans, torque boxes, rear frame rails, front rails, new suspension, new fuel tank, trumpet exhaust, h-pipe exhaust, hi-po headers, new axle bearings, carrier bearings, rear end seals, refinished backing plates, new rear brakes, brake lines, fuel lines, electrical harness, bumpers, interior changed to pony white and blue, aluminum pulleys, front disc brakes with an under-dash proportioning valve, power brakes, cobra valve covers, new radiator, GT fog lamps.
Body was metal prepped, primed, sanded, primed, painted, sanded, painted, clear coated nine times as well as undercoated, seam sealed, weld primed. As you can see lots of money went into this restoration.
There is no doubt people will look at you when you drive this beautiful 50 year old classic!!
Good Luck!! Amazing car!!
