RARE GENUINE CLASSIC 1992 FORD MUSTANG LX 5.0 5 SPEED BRIGHT CALYPSO GREEN & now with
NEW converted from factory gray to the more highly desirable BLACK INTERIOR
New Black carpet, new ACC High Quality 4 PC FLOOR MATS (2 Front with TRI PONY LOGO on then, 2 Rear mats plain black)New Black Front Seat Upholstery from Late Model Restoration and New back seat Black Upholstery. Black door panels with nostalgic Mustang GAS CAP on them, DASH & ALL PANELS, SILL PLATES ARE NOW MATCHING BLACK. For contrast, the headliner, visors, seatbelts & receivers were left gray intentionally it looks amazing. The instrument panel / gauge cluster is like new, very clear, lighting in bright, no fading on back of gauges that is common of old FoxBodies. Silver JVC head unit w/ CD player is NOT hooked up, as I figured that the new owner may elect for a nicer upgraded stereo, but if you so choose to stick with this one, all the wires are right there ready, neat & capped. Also the doors and rear speakers are still FORD Original Premium Sound, Dash has Eclipse Tweeters.
***** Just finished reinstalling door panels after REPLACING BOTH (2) POWER DOOR LOCK ACTUATORS WITH BRAND NEW ONES FROM Daniel Carpenter Reproductions and 2 NEW REAL METAL DOOR HANDLES (NOT PLASTIC LIKE FACTORY).
EXTERIOR:
This car has it's original paint in the ULTRA RARE BRIGHT CALYPSO GREEN, and since it is 23 years old, of course the car has some paint chips, scratches, and clear coat peeling in some places (noticeably the hood, see pics). The car has a few light hail dings on roof, but once again I direct you to the pictures, the car looks incredible to me for a car it's age, and since it has only 99k miles (actual honest verifiable miles) the car still sports all original body panels with NO RUST. FLOOR PANS, TORQUE BOXES,THE HATCH, THE UNDERCARRIAGE, THE SHOCK TOWERS, COWL, ALL SOLID AND NO RUST ISSUES.
The Drums and Calipers have been painted Silver to match the 17 x 9 inch Cobra R Wheels, that have 275 Nitto Drag Radials in the rear ( quad-shocks removed of course ) and 245 Nitto 555s in the Front. The car has a mean no non-sense drag look to it, but rides and handles like a dream. The car is clean inside and out, and though she is set-up to be run hard, the car really has not been abused at all, there are NO SUBFRAME CONNECTORS, which IF you know anything about FoxBody Mustangs you know that no one would ever consider drag racing one without doing this as one of their first modifications. Of course, you could drag race this car, but to me it deserves to be preserved. I may consider keeping this car and repainting it if it does not sell, one thing for sure if I were to repaint this car and then decide to sell it. This would be a $16,000 - $17,000 car all day, any day.
I have just replaced the Window to Outer Door Molding on the Outside Top of each Door
I also have BRAND NEW Rear Quarter Window Trim Molding Covers that make these look perfectly new without having to remove the glass.
BRAND NEW Driver's Door to Body Weatherstrip I just replaced as well, the other remaining weatherstrip is in excellent condition.
I also have the Brand New Hood to Firewall Seal / Weatherstrip, I did not put it on yet since I may keep the car and get it painted. THIS IS AFTER ALL 1 OF 449 BUILT IN RARE BRIGHT CALYPSO GREEN IN 1992
